Hawker centre surprise

Quite unexpectedly, hokkien ke & english crooning over e morning din of a 'heartland' market!


By e pillar of e hawker centre was e Blind buskering musician, with guitar-harmonica-speaker & a donationbox. What an ambience he created! i sat at a nearby table for a breakfast of cheecheongfun, yamcake & soyamilk, listening & observing the going ons.

Two malay women sat in the next table, taking their time over packets of nasilemak.
Across, was e vege & fruit section of e adjoining market which was bustling with a folks perhaps making a burst of buying for the cny & festivities.
There was a big dose of generosity too, many 'hits' for e busker's moneybox! :)
